Adak is an island near the western end of the Aleutian Islands
and is Alaska's most southern town. The island has a land area of
275 square miles, making it the 25th largest Island in the United
States.
While there are many ground fish species delivered to and processed at
Adak, the most notable is Cod, which is frozen and distributed to customers
around the globe. The Cod season begins in January and this plant is open year
round.
